I am re-doing my kitchen and I wanted to do yellow, red and white.?

Question: My sister said I can't use red and yellow together. What is your opinion?

Answer: Yes, you can use red and yellow together. Just look around in nature. You'll see red and yellow flowers....such as tulips mixed in a single bed and the result is incredible...so if it works in nature why should you not use it in your home. Look at Waverly fabrics, in Joann's or Calico Corners, you'll see lots of yellow and red together....my dining room chairs have red cushions with yellow dragonflies embroidered on the fabric. Just be careful in not getting too bright, or mixing too many of the same color....reds can be hard to match, that's why they need the balance of yellow....but in the same tone.
